Laurie Anderson is playing a special dogs-only concert in New York
Laurie Anderson is performing a concert tonight in New York City - the catch? It's for dogs.
This will be the second time Anderson has performed a concert for canines, following Music For Dogs at Sydney Opera House back in 2010.
The 4 January show is part of Times Square's Midnight Moment series, and takes place at Times Square at 11.30pm. Anderson's performance will be played from speakers at a low frequency designed to be "dog-friendly" - there will also be 350 sets of wireless headphones for the humans wishing to listen.
Speaking about the show, fellow Midnight Moment contributor Yoko Ono says that it's an idea that "only Laurie can get away with".
Find out more about the project on the NY Times website.
