Lauran Hibberd goes fully festive on cover of "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree"
Lauran Hibberd is spreading the festive cheer with her rock-infused cover of Brenda Lee's "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree".
"Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree" is a festive classic originally recorded by Brenda Lee in 1958, and today (15 December) Lauran Hibberd has covered the track.
Hibberd's rock-infused version of the classic Christmas track marks her first release since October's "Boy Bye" single.
She says of her cover, "I traditionally hate playing covers, but have also hated 2020 so decided it would be a good time to face my fears. TURNS OUT, it was actually fun! This is one of my fave xmas songs (love you Home Alone) and it was funny trying to reimagine it!"
