Lana Del Rey pushes back release date of spoken word album after robbery over Christmas holidays
Lana Del Rey has delayed the arrival of her new spoken word album after "family mementos” were stolen over the Christmas holidays.
Last month, Norman Fucking Rockwell singer Lana Del Rey announced plans to release a "freestyle poetry" spoken word album in January.
The record was expected to arrive on 4 January, but on Saturday (4 January), Lana Del Rey revealed that it would be delayed after her family were robbed over Christmas.
On Saturday (4 January), Lana Del Rey wrote on Twitter, "Hoping everyone had a great New Years, gonna wait for about a month to put out Violet since we lost about nine days with everything going on – it’s an interesting project though, looking forward to having it out x."
