Lana Del Rey announces new album Lust For Life, teases collaboration with The Weeknd
Lana Del Rey has confirmed her next record is coming "soon" - and it's got an intriguing title: Lust For Life.
Lust For Life, almost certainly a reference to the Iggy Pop and David Bowie collaboration of the same name, also has a shadowy new trailer that features spooky organs and some mysterious words about Del Rey's creative process.
Earlier this week it was revealed that Del Rey and The Weeknd were working together again (the pair teamed up on The Weeknd's Starboy LP) on a track, also titled "Lust For Life". A cover of the Pop classic? Probably not.
The album news comes after last month's swooning single "Love" and follows 2015's Honeymoon.
"I made my first four albums for me," said Del Rey last month. "This one is for my fans and about where I hope we are all headed”.
Del Rey has a busy summer of festivalling ahead, with dates at Way Out West, Flow Festival, and Øya among those confirmed. Check out her full schedule on Songkick.
