Lambchop reveal details of new album, share comforting lead single "The December-ish You"
Lambchop return with news of their next record This (is what I wanted to tell you), announced with the warm-hearted lead track "The December-ish You".
Nashville's legendary collective Lambchop are back with news of a new record to follow last year's singles "The Hustle Unlimited" (A reworked version of their FLOTUS track "Hustle") and their cover of Prince's "When You Were Mine".
"The December-ish You" is the lead single from their '14th' album (they skipped 13). Frontman Kurt Wagner explains the new single further, "Picture yourself on a boat on a river, with tangerine trees and marmalade skies... This is not that."
Lambchop, once a collective of musicians, has since tuned down the lineup and in recent years has been operating with three solid members, including Wagner, bassist Matt Swanson, and pianist Tony Crow.
