Kojey Radical shares "Gangsta" as second single from debut album
Kojey Radical has unveiled new single "Gangsta", which arrives as the second preview of his debut album due out in 2022.
"Gangsta" is Kojey Radical's first release since teaming up with Lex Amor on his debut album's first single "War Outside" in September, and features production from KZ, Swindle, Ed Thomas and Jay Weathers.
Kojey Radical says of the new track, "Any time I come to a sense of reasoning or a sense of self, it’s normally because of the advice or presence of women around me, whether that’s my mum, my sisters or the mother or my son. This song is a celebration of those women and an appreciation of everything they’ve been through. For me, their ability to persevere through everything is the definition of what a gangster actually is."
His forthcoming debut album, due out next year, will follow 2019's Cashmere Tears project.
As well as preparing his album, Kojey Radical recently featured on multiple songs on Swindle's THE NEW WORLD album.
