Kevin George drops second EP FORTINA that enhances the nucleus to his sound
Kevin George isn't stopping for anyone. Having dropped his self-produced debut EP in April, he's already back with an even more majestic, seven-track project, FORTINA.
Saturated with trap-infused beats boiled down for summer swaying, Kevin George is showcasing his diversity in material, while also honing in on his initial flair to carry out a seven-track repeat-worthy EP. At just 20, the Connecticut-based musician is rising through the ranks quickly, and FORTINA proves he has no intention of stopping.
The multi-talented producer, engineer and vocalist gives a taste of his profilic 2018 with a couple of club-ready collaborations, while still giving time to his downcast sound that grabbed our ears in the first place.
Standout track "OMG (feat. Billy)" is an exhilirating snapshot to his ability to challenge some of today's biggest rappers as he takes on a tone similar to Kendrick Lamar.
He lists the likes of Prince & Tame Impala, and The Weeknd as some of his influences.
Submerged in reverb, George's vocals interlink with his hazy beats that project a perfect soundtrack for all occasions.
Earlier single "She Don't Luv Me (feat. GUNNA)" appears on the new EP, but the other six tracks are fresh and devinely delivered.
