Perry revealed the original release date for her new album back in May when she released "Daisies", but has today (9 July) unveiled the album cover and title - Smile.

Announcing the news via socials this afternoon, Perry wrote, "Step right up! Step right up! KP5 is called #SMILE. I wrote the title track from the album when I was coming through one of the darkest periods of my life and had lost my smile. This whole album is my journey towards the light - with stories of resilience, hope, and love."

Smile will be Perry's first album since 2017's Witness.

She's yet to confirm if her recent singles "Never Worn White" and "Harleys In Hawaii" will feature on the LP.

Katy Perry's "Smile" single lands tomorrow (10 July). Her fifth album of the same name will be released 14 August, and is available to pre-order now.
