Kanye West's Donda album delayed again after second listening party

Kanye West's Donda album release date has been pushed back once again after hosting a second listening party for the record at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium last week.

Last Friday (6 August) Kanye West was expected to release his Donda album, but over the weekend pre-order pages for the record were updated, showing that it's been pushed back once again.

Donda was originally due for release (according to ye) in 2020, and then was officially announced for release on 23 July. Following the first listening party event last month, Theophilus London revealed on socials that Kanye West had "verses to finish and a bunch of new features" following the event.

After it was revealed that ye was living at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium to finish the album, he announced a second listening party event, and it saw him preview new collaborations with The Weeknd, Kid Cudi and many more.

Over the weekend it became clear that Donda would be pushed back again, and as Complex reports, it looks likely to arrive this week. iTunes reportedly states that it's dropping on Friday (13 Auguust), while Apple Music is listing Sunday (15 August) as the release date.

Last week another new Kanye West song (not due to featuure on Donda) with Dr. Dre called "Glory" was previewed in a new Beats by Dre advert starring Sha'Carri Richardson.
