Kanye West says Donda 2 album will only be available on his Stem Player
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has announced that his Donda 2 album will be released exclusively on his Stem Player.
Ye announced Donda 2 last month, and ahead of the release date next week, Ye has shared an update, revealing that it'll only be available via his "Stem Player".
He wrote, "Donda 2 will only be available on my own platform, the Stem Player. Not on Apple Amazon Spotify or YouTube. Today artists get just 12% of the money the industry makes. It’s time to free music from this oppressive system. It’s time to take control and build our own. Go to stemplayer.com now to order."

In another post, Ye added, "You can download new music from stemplayer.com. You can play 4 different elements of the track: vocals, drums, bass and music. It also has a MP3 player available. We currently have 67,000 available and are making 3,000 a day."

The first Stem Player was launched with last year's Donda album for $200, and allowed users to "customise any songs" from the album with vocal, drum, bass and sample controls, as well as the ability to isolate parts, add effects and split any songs into stems.
In another Instagram post, Ye wrote, "After 10 albums after being under 10 contracts. I turned down a hundred million dollar Apple deal. No one can pay me to be disrespected. We set our own price for our art. Tech companies made music practically free so if you don’t do merch sneakers and tours you don’t eat. Jay Z made Tidal and fake media attacked him. Well in the words of my big brother. Come and get me. I’m willing to die standing cause I ain’t living on my knees no more. God please cover me. I run this company 100% I don’t have to ask for permission. This is our 2nd generation stemplayer We have more things we working on. I feel like how I felt in the first episode of the documentary."

He also shared what appears to be a handwritten tracklist for Donda 2.
