
Justin Bieber sets new record for most songwriters on Song Of The Year Grammy nomination
Justin Bieber's "Peaches" song has broken a record for the most songwriters on a Song Of The Year Grammy nomination.
Bieber released "Peaches" featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon from his JUSTICE album in March, and as well as being nominated for Record Of The Year at the 2022 Grammys, "Peaches" is also up for Song Of The Year, which is a songwriters award.
As Billboard reported yesterday (30 December), Bieber's "Peaches" song has actually broken a Grammy record in the Song Of The Year category, as it features 11 songwriters including Louis Bell, Justin Bieber, Giveon Dezmann Evans, Bernard Harvey, Felisha "Fury" King, Matthew Sean Leon, Luis Manuel Martinez Jr., Aaron Simmonds, Ashton Simmonds, Andrew Wotman and Keavan Yazdani.
Previously, Beyoncé held the record for "Black Parade", which broke the record last year for having nine songwriters.
Bruno Mars' "That's What I Like", Destiny's Child's "Say My Name", Sheryl Crow's "All I Wanna Do" and Christopher Cross' "Arthur's Theme" have also previouusly held the same record.
