Julian Casablancas and Joy Orbison to host new Grand Theft Auto Online radio stations
Grand Theft Auto Online will launch its new Heist next Tuesday (15 December), which will introduce new radio stations hosted by The Strokes' Julian Casablancas and Joy Orbison.
As Games Radar reports, GTA Online's new Cayo Perico Heist update will include three new radio stations - Kult FM (hosted by Casablancas), Still Slipping Los Santos featuring Joy Orbison, and The Music Locker - named after the game's new club of the same name.
The new update will be the biggest musical update to the game to date, with over 250 new tracks being added to the in-game radio stations.
Kult FM will premiere a new Voidz track called "Alien Crime Lord", as well as featuring appearances from Mac DeMarco, David Cross, and Tony Mac. The Kult FM playlist will feature music by Joy Division, New Order, A Certain Ratio, Danzig, the Velvet Underground and Iggy Pop.
Existing GTA V radio stations including Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM and Flying Lotus’ FlyLo FM stations will also have new music in circulation. Worldwide FM will play new additions from Kamasi Washington, Khruangbin and a unreleased collaboration between BADBADNOTGOOD and MF DOOM, while FlyLo FM will feature an appearance from Tierra Whack, as well as tracks from Flying Lotus himself, Madlib, MF DOOM and more.
