Julia Jacklin played a short secret session at End of the Road Festival
The End of the Road Festival is full of mysterious nooks and crannies for the intrepid explorer to discover, or for those who partake a little too liberally in the Cider Bus' wares, to get horribly lost in
But even veterans may not be aware of the secret grotto that lies within the sunken garden, a hidden oasis of peace where up-and-coming Aussie singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin kindly agreed to record an intimate session with Best Fit.
After joking about the possibility of covering Bruce Springsteen, and abandoning their tour to see the Boss, Julia performed a mellow, subtly beautiful number from her new album Don't Let The Kids Win, with backing vocals ably provided by guitarist Tom Stephens.
