John Maus is back with details of two new albums and a career-spanning box set
John Maus has announced Screen Memories, his first new album in six years, and shared lead single "The Combine".
"The Combine" is the first preview of the new album, and comes with a video directed by Tina Rivera. Screen Memories was recorded at his home in Minnesota.
Maus has also detailed a new career-spanning box set containing a second new LP featuring 12 tracks - it's titled Addendum and the vinyl edition is only available as part of the box set. The collection will also feature out-of-print records Songs (2006), Love Is Real (2007), and We Must Become The Pitiless Censors Of Ourselves (2011), plus A Collection Of Rarities And Previously Unreleased Material (2012), and this year's upcoming album Screen Memories. It will also come complete with a 56-page booklet featuring lyrics, essays, and photos.
Maus is set to play a string of European dates this autumn, with shows at Bristol's Simple Things Festival and London's The Dome in October. Find out the full details.
