Joan of Arc announce final album with opening track "Destiny Revision"
Joan of Arc have announced their new and final album Tim Melina Theo Bobby, which arrives with the opening song "Destiny Revision".
"Destiny Revision" is the group's first new track since 2018's "Indelible in the Hippocampus is The Laughter".
Bandleader Tim Kinsella says of the single, ""Destiny Revision" was a personal song when it was written a couple years ago, about winging it when your life fails to play out as you’d imagined. Unfortunately that simple sentiment now has a much more expansive and darker resonance as all of us in America face a fascist administration using the pandemic as an opportunity to consolidate power, and we all struggle to imagine our futures."
The band's upcoming album Tim Melina Theo Bobby will follow on from 2018's 1984. It'll be the final album from Joan of Arc, wrapping up their 25-year career.
Tim Melina Theo Bobby was written and recorded by Kinsella alongside bandmates Melina Ausikaitis, Theo Katsaounis, and Bobby Burg. The LP will feature frequent collaborators including Jeremy Boyle, Jenny Pulse, Nate Kinsella and Todd Mattei.
