JFDR drops brutal/tender break-up ballad ahead of debut solo album
JFDR has revealed a new track "Airborne" and announced a spring release date for her debut record.
The solo project from Icelandic wunderkind Jófríður Ákadóttir, which emerged last year saw her named as one of Best Fit's Ones to Watch for 2017.

"Airborne" does nothing but give credibility to that title: it's a weighty, complex combination of bash-the-fuck-out beats pitted against Ákadóttir's distinctive vocal and shows a different side to previous single "White Sun". Talking to Loud and Quiet, she's called the song "a fragile piano break up ballad".
Ákadóttir has also revealed that the first longplayer from JFDR is titled Brazil and will drop in the spring on her own imprint White Sun Records.
