Jessie J to release anticipated fourth album in four parts and four days
Pop idol Jessie J is releasing her fourth album in four parts, kicking off today, 22 May, with R.O.S.E (Realisations).
They normally say things come in threes, but with Jessie J, it seems four is her lucky number.
The highly anticipated fourth album, R.O.S.E, has been broken up into four parts, to be released across four days.
On the upcoming releases, Jessie J said, "Its crazy that its been 4 years since I released new music. I have done so much growing in the last few years. You can hear it in the music, the songs on R.O.S.E. are simply me singing my diary in a melody. I am so grateful and happy that anyone who has been waiting for this record in full will finally have it.”
Commencing on 22 May with R.O.S.E (Realisations), Jessie J will be releasing R.O.S.E (Obsessions) on 23 May, R.O.S.E (Sex) on 24 May, and R.O.S.E (Empowerment) on 25 May.
Having collaborated with DJ Camper, Jessie J's new project comes after hurdling obsticles when making music, as the pop star details she, "really didn’t want to work on new music."
Now, in a better place, Jessie J can see the light at the end of the tunnel, with a strong personal attachment to the innovative project, "It didn’t come to me straight away. The more I started writing, the more I kept repeating the words, and then one day I realized those words spelt ROSE. My mum’s name is Rose. They have always been my favorite flower, so beautiful but when handled badly can fall apart, so delicate but so very strong. I just started seeing roses everywhere, it was so weird but I knew it was for a reason, I was definitely paying attention to a deeper and higher energy.”
