Jenny Hval, Anna Von Hausswolff, Colin Stetson, and more to play Supersonic Festival
Supersonic Festival has announced Jenny Hval, Anna Von Hausswolff, Colin Stetson, and more in its first wave of acts.
Arbouretum, Princess Nokia, Oxbow, Laura Cannell, Melt Banana, Raime, and Zu are also performing at the June event, which takes place in Digbeth, Birmingham.
Von Hausswolff will give the opening concert at Digbeth's Grade I-listed Town Hall; she'll be perfoming a set on the hall's iconic pipe organ.
As well as the music, Supersonic prides itself on a rich showcase of "nourishing cultural experiences", with talks, workshops, exhibitions, and screenings all on a bill that works closely with the local community.
