James Blake to interview Burial on debut Radio 1 show tonight
In a post to publicise his debut Radio 1 show tonight, James Blake revealed via Facebook that he will be interviewing the elusive electronic mastermind Burial “in the studio”.
Despite being considered as one of the leading voices in underground electronic music, the producer known only as William Bevan has preserved his anonymity remarkably – known to give interviews only in extremely rare circumstances. Blake revealed the coup via a Facebook status stating that the show would contain, alongside new material from himself, including a Beyonce remix, the conversation with Bevan.
Although the post has since been edited to read “Special Guest”, a canny screen-shotter preserved the update with the below tweet:
