Jack Flanagan of Mystery Jets has announced his debut solo album Rides The Sky, and has shared "Skyhorse X Skyhorse" as the lead single.
"Skyhorse X Skyhorse" is Flanagan's first outing under his own name, and was, in Flanagan's own words, "born in a shed in somebody else’s back garden in north London."
Flanagan adds, "It began as eight different songs and after half a year of experimentation it eventually became one. I wanted to try and construct a song that took you to as many different places as possible within three minutes. I think it does."
The single will appear on his debut album Rides The Sky, which features 12 tracks written over the last decade.
Tracklist:
- Curses
- Skyhorse X Skyhorse
- Gravy Train
- Unbelievable
- Don’t Ask Me Why
- Something Has Changed

- Why Am I Only Here
"Skyhorse X Skyhorse" is out now. Jack Flanagan's debut album Rides The Sky is set for release on 10 June via Modern Sky, and is available to pre-order now.
