It looks like Avril Lavigne is planning to follow up last year's "Bite Me" with a new single this week.

In a new Instagram post shared last night (11 January), Avril Lavigne posted images from her Harper's Bazaar Vietnam feature, and captioned the post: "WHO WANTS A NEW SONG THIS WEEK ??!!"

Lavigne is yet to confirm if a new single is arriving this week, but if there is one, it'll follow November 2021's "Bite Me".

In December Avril Lavigne spoke about her new album, calling it a "love letter to women".
