IDLES share voracious new track "Great"
Bristol's supercharged IDLES get gritty with their political offering "Great".
IDLES have added another ton of momentum behind their ferocious sound as they reveal the latest cut "Great".
Following on from "Colossus", "Danny Nedelko" and the most recent, "Samaritans", "Great" sees frontman Joe Talbot confront the topics of Brexit and Trump as a pro-immigration deliverance.
Vocalist Talbot explains of the new track, “Let us go forward with open minds and open hearts into that fuck off fire we've started. No blame, no hate. Just love and a blue passport.”
"Great" arrives with visuals directed by Theo Watkins, and is revealed just two weeks before IDLES' sophomore album Joy as an Act of Resistance drops.
On 30-31 August IDLES open their curated pop-up art exhibition that features work from Orlando Weeks, Nigel Talbot, Tom Ham and more. All proceeds go to the Samaritans charity.
