Hot Chip need you to know that their “Need You Now” has arrived
Hot Chip have unveiled the video for new Why Make Sense? single "Need You Now".
The video was directed by Shynola, who said of the band: “We share a lot of the same references and attitudes - there’s a definite aesthetic affinity. The idea for the video wholly came from our reaction to the song. What was intended to be a piece of thrifty filmmaking ended up being a mind-melting shoot - if you can imagine shooting multiple versions of reality, but completely out of chronology, plus in the pissing rain and wind.”
Why Make Sense? will also be available as a Special Edition, featuring the Separate EP (four new offcuts from the album sessions). It's due on 18 May via Domino.
