Released under the name Family Scraps, "It Follows" was recorded at the end of last year, before flooding in Leeds damaged the Suburban Home studio.
"I was making a record on my own late last year but only finished one song before the flood," MJ Tweeted, before confirming that "this will be a whole record as soon as I can get some studio time to finish it."
MJ has previously been named as Best Fit's Producer Of The Year.
