Hiss Golden Messenger covers Bill Fay's "Still Some Light"
Hiss Golden Messenger has covered Bill Fay's "Still Some Light" for the latest instalment of the ongoing 7" cover series.
Following the release of Mary Lattimore's cover of Fay's "Love Is The Tune" last month, Hiss Golden Messenger has covered Fay's "Still Some Light".
He said of the cover, "A lot of music has come and gone in my life, but Bill Fay’s songs have always been consistent. They always sound new, which I think is a testament to what he does with language and emotion. I’m a fan forever."
Back in February Julia Jacklin's covered Fay's "Just To Be A Part", and before that Kevin Morby shared his version of "I Hear You Calling", and Steve Gunn released his "Dust Filled Room" cover.
