Hear three new versions of The Beatles' "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"
Three new recordings of The Beatles' "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" have been revealed ahead of the 50th anniversary re-release of their iconic The White Album.
The Beatles' self-titled album, better known asThe White Album, was originally released in 1968.
As the album approaches its 50th anniversary on 9 November, engineers have been working alongside Giles Martin and Sam Okell to remaster and release previously unheard sessions from the recording of their ninth album.
The three recordings include the "Esher Demo" (Esher being a village in Devon where George Harrison lived), "Acoustic Version Take 2" and the remastered 2018 mix.
The 50th anniversary edition of the album will feature 27 acoustic demos, and 50 session takes, nearly all of which have been previously unheard.
