Hayden Thorpe unveils new offering "Earthly Needs"
Hayden Thorpe has shared another taste of his debut solo record Diviner with new single "Earthly Needs".
"Earthly Needs" lands after "Love Crimes" and "Diviner".
Speaking to Best Fit about his Diviner album, Thorpe revealed, "I was in LA for the first 100 days of Trump and there was a real sensation in the air of potential apocalypse. It was when North Korea were making worrying noises. There was a genuine sense of oblivion. I thought, if the bomb dropped and I was just left in this room, what would music sound like? What record would I make from this vantage point? The songs were written in this new civilisation. It was really fruitful."
Thorpe's forthcoming album was written between California, Cornwall, and his home in London.
