Harry Styles' cover of Lizzo's "Juice" is an unexpected early Christmas gift

18 December 2019, 14:58 | Written by Cerys Kenneally

Harry Styles returned to BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge yesterday (17 December) and dropped a brilliant cover of Lizzo's "Juice".

Lizzo dropped "Juice" back in January, and it featured on her 2019 album Cuz I Love You.

The cover saw Styles personalise the song to his live band and manager, swapping out the word "bitch" for "Mitch" (Styles' guitarist Mitch Rowland), and giving his manager Jeffrey Azoff a shout out.

Styles then went on to speak highly of Lizzo in the interview after the performance, "I just think she’s amazing; she’s one of the most exciting artists working now for sure. She’s exactly what you want an artist to be, which is themselves."

Lizzo has since responded on Twitter, writing, "*melts*".

Styles also performed Fine Line singles "Lights Up" and "Adore You", as well as a cover of Paul McCartney's Christmas classic "Wonderful Christmas Time".

Harry Styles' Fine Line album is out now. He plays London's O2 Arena on 22 and 23 April 2020 with King Princess. Find out more.
