Halsey announces debut poetry collection I Would Leave Me If I Could
Halsey has announced her debut poetry collection, I Would Leave Me If I Could, and it'll be released in November.
The Manic singer/songwriter announced her poetry collection I Would Leave Me If I Could yesterday (25 June), writing, "I wrote a few thousand sentences but am somehow struggling to string together a single one to summarise how excited I am about this."

The pre-order page for Halsey's poetry book reveals the poems will tackle similar subjects she explores in her music, "Halsey’s poems delve into the highs and lows of doomed relationships, family ties, sexuality, and mental illness. More hand grenades than confessions, these autobiographical poems explore and dismantle conventional notions of what it means to be a feminist in search of power."
Earlier this month, Halsey launched the Black Creators Funding Initiative to help "black creators and amplify their art, voice and perspective. This ongoing initiative will be entirely funded by the Halsey team."
