New short explores the political nuances behind Gruff Rhys' latest album Babelsberg

Earlier this month, Super Furry Animal Gruff Rhys played live with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, in support of his best-selling solo record to date, Babelsberg
On hand to film the run-up to the concert was SFA biographer and filmmaker Ric Rawlins, and the result is Gruff Rhys On the Frontier – a short film exclusively produced for Best Fit.
The film explores the political nuances behind the album while taking us behind the scenes of the orchestral collaboration and you can watch it above or over on YouTube.
“There’s all these mystical ideas of creativity,” says Gruff in the film, “when maybe it’s not all that complicated.”
