Grimes is "in the studio every day" working on a new album inspired by Dark Souls III
A new album from Grimes is very much in the works - and it's "very inspired by Dark Souls III", apparently.
The Canadian producer, real name Claire Boucher, released her fourth record Art Angels in 2015. Grimes has spoken about the follow up a few times in time since, describing it as "slow and heavy" with "chill vibes, downtempos, synth-y shit", and now she's opened up about the progress, writing in an Instagram post that she's "in the studio every day trying to legit make something you’ve never heard before."

As well as the update, Boucher answered a couple of questions on Twitter, revealing that the album will be "very inspired" by infamously difficult videogame Dark Souls III and that there's already a collaboration with one of her favourite artists recorded.
