Gorillaz and Little Simz join forces on electrifying new jam "Garage Palace"
Gorillaz have teamed up with Little Simz for new single "Garage Palace" ahead of their forthcoming European tour.
"Garage Palace" follows 2D's solo offering "Sleeping Powder" and recent guest-stuffed comeback album Humanz.
The track comes with a "retro 8-bit video game visualiser", which was created in collaboration with Little Simz's illustrator McKay Felt and director Noah Harris. As well as being animated for the video, Simz has been Gorillaz-ified separately:
Little Simz is supporting Gorillaz on their upcoming European tour dates, which start next month and include massive shows at the O2 Arena in December. Find out more.
Gorillaz have also today detailed The Super Deluxe Vinyl Boxset, which features new album Humanz spread across 14 individual 12" discs - each is a different colour with individually designed artwork. On the B-side to each disc is a non-album offering, "most" of which are completely unseen. The set also includes a rather spectacular hardback book containing artwork by Jamie Hewlett.
