Girl Ray unveil breezy pop single "Girl"
Girl Ray are back with their breezy new single "Girl", the opening track from their forthcoming second album of the same name.
"Girl" is the second single to be lifted from their new record Girl, after July's lead single "Show Me More".
Girl Ray's Poppy Hankin says of the new single, "Well what’s it about? An intense crush where you lose all reasonable brain thoughts and can’t conceive why the hell things shouldn’t work out in rom-com style perfection. This one is for you to roll the windows down to on those hot hot hot summer days. Blast it loud blast it proud."
Their second record will arrive two years after their debut album Earl Grey.
The trio headed to Margate's Electric Beach Studios to make their second LP with the help of Ash Workman (Christine and the Queens, Metronomy).
