Genghar preview fast-approaching Sanctuary album with new single "Icarus"
Gengahr's new album Sanctuary lands tomorrow (31 January), and the band have dropped a final preview of the LP, in the form of "Icarus".
"Icarus" lands after previous singles "Never A Low", "Heavenly Maybe", "Everything & More", and "Atlas Please".
Speaking about "Icarus", Gengahr explain, ""Icarus" is a song about growing up and coming to terms with the expectations of our youth. As a child we believe anything is possible but as we get older there is a crushing realisation as we begin to understand that the journey of life has its own uncontrollable trajectory."
Sanctuary will be Gengahr's first LP since 2018's Where Wildness Grows.
The album is produced by Jack Steadman of Bombay Bicycle Club, and was recorded at Propagation House in Bude, Cornwall.
