Gengahr return with first single of 2021 "Under The Skin"

After teasing a new song set to footage from American Gods back in January, Gengahr have returned with "Under The Skin", their first single of 2021.

The band first teased "Under The Skin" in January with a clip of the song set to footage from the season three trailer for Amazon Prime's American Gods TV series.

Today (12 March), Gengahr have released "Under The Skin" in full, marking their first single of 2021. The new track also arrives today to coincide with the release of season three of the show.

"Under The Skin" is accompanied by a video that includes footage from all three seasons of American Gods.

Gengahr's Felix Bushe says, "It was a really interesting opportunity for us and when we were asked about the project I thought immediately that I had something that would work well for this. There was an element of re-writing that went on but essentially the world the song lived in already existed and happened to be one much the same as the show itself."

"Under The Skin" marks Gengahr's first outing since last year's Sanctuary Rework EP.

Gengahr's "Under The Skin" single is out now on Liberator Music.
