Garbage preview first album in five years with third outing "Wolves"
Garbage have shared new cut "Wolves" as the third offering from their first album in five years, No Gods No Masters.
"Wolves" lands as the third preview of No Gods No Masters, following last month's title-track and March's lead single "The Men Who Rule The World".
Shirley Manson says of the track, "This song reminds me of my younger self, when there were two sides to my personality. I hurt so many people in my life, both knowingly and unknowingly, I'm sure. But when you're young and in self-survival mode, much like a baby rattlesnake, you have no idea how strong your venom is. But it has the power to kill. You're just out there having fun… This is the pop song off the record."
No Gods No Masters will follow Garbage's 2016's Strange Little Birds album, and is produced by longtime collaborator Billy Bush.
Garbage started forming the songs back in summer 2018 while in Palm Springs over the space of two weeks, and later finished the album in LA.
