Future Islands released a new single called "The Chase" for Record Store Day. With a catch.
Recorded live to wax, the track - the band's first new material since last year's Singles LP - was limited to one physical copy worldwide. This was eventually shipped to Seismic Records in Leamington Spa, who raffled off the disc to raise money for the Myton Hospice.
Although you can't get a physical version, and a digital release is still being kept under wraps (if it's happening at all), you can listen Mary Anne Hobbs' Radio 6 Music show here, and skip to the 2:19:00 mark to hear the song.
