
Florence Welch creates poem about being quarantined out of fan comments
Florence Welch has put together a heartfelt Collective Poem about life in quarantine, created by a series of comments from fans.
While many musicians are providing live sessions and livestreamed performances while isolating themselves from coronavirus, Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine has decided to approach the quarantine in a slightly different way.
Instead of sharing music with her fans online, she has put together a poem about life in quarantine. Earlier this week, Welch wrote on Instagram, "As we practice social distancing, I thought we could come together in a different way... Please write one line you would like to add to a ‘Collective Poem’ and I will try and piece it together....If you are feeling afraid, anxious or isolated I send you so much love."
Today (20 March), Welch has shared the poem in full, revealing it in a video format.
