
Flock of Dimes signs to Sub Pop, drops new EP Like So Much Desire
Flock of Dimes, the project of Wye Oak's Jenn Wasner, has signed to Sub Pop and surprise-released a new EP titled Like So Much Desire.
Like So Much Desire is the first collection of tracks from Flock of Dimes since 2016's If You See Me, Say Yes.
The new EP spans five tracks, presenting the first new material from Wasner's Flock of Dimes project since last year's split single with Madeline Kenney.
Wasner recorded the majority of tracks at her home while in isolation The bulk of the songs were recorded by Wasner in her home in isolation. Drummer JT Bates sent his contributions in from Minneapolis, while Paul Wiancko, Michi Wiancko and Ayane Kozasa sent their string parts from New York.
