Fickle Friends unveil second single "92" from new EP
Fickle Friends have shared new single "92", the second track to be lifted from their Weird Years (Season 1) EP.
"92" lands after last month's opening single "What A Time", and is released with a video made up of VHS tapes from vocalist Natti Shiner's childhood.
Shiner says of the new song, "The premise of "92" is so innocent...love without boundaries or questioning. I'm very fortunate my parents kept the VHS tapes from the 90s in Switzerland and my childhood...and we felt like using them for a video was a nice nod to the song title (92 - the year I was born). I think it represents that unblemished love you have as a child, everything just gets a bit messier and complicated as you grow up."
Weird Years (Season 1) EP will be Fickle Friends' first since 2018's Broken Sleep EP.
Shiner adds of the project, "This EP is the weird story of the last three years of our lives. It covers everything from waking up and feeling horrendous, to being stuck in lockdown and feeling anxious, to being heartbroken. There’s a lot in there that I think people will relate to."
