Elvis Costello has released new track "Hetty O’Hara Confidential", his second single of the year.
"Hetty O’Hara Confidential" follows on from Costello's June single "No Flag", and is, in his own words, a "tale of a tattler who outlives her time".
Like "No Flag", Costello recorded his new outing at Suomenlinnan Studio in Helsinki, Finland with Eetü Seppälä. Costello produced "Hetty O'Hara Confidential" himself, and it was mixed in LA by Sebastian Krys.
Costello's last album was 2018's Look Now with The Imposters.
Back in April, Costello shared a heartfelt written tribute to the late John Prine.
Elvis Costello's "Hetty O'Hara Confidential" single is out now.
