
Elliott Smith's XO and Figure 8 re-released as deluxe editions for his 50th birthday

Two of Elliott Smith's albums, XO and Figure 8, have been re-released as deluxe editions on what would've been his 50th birthday.
XO and Figure 8 were Smith's last two albums before he died in 2003.
Today (6 August) marks what would've been Smith's 50th birthday, and to celebrate the late singer/songwriter's career, UMe (Universal Music Enterprises) have added a mixture of rarities, B-sides, acoustic versions, remixes, and more for the deluxe editions.
XO includes three new bonus tracks, as well as "Miss Misery", while Figure 8 includes another three new bonus tracks, as well as a cover of The Beatles' "Because".
