Echo Lake announce new album Era, share lead single "Waves"
Echo Lake have announced a new album for March called Era, as well as the lead single/video "Waves".
It's the first new music from the London-based Echo Lake since 2012's accolade-laden debut record Wild Peace, the release of which was overshadowed by the sudden passing of drummer Pete Hayes. The band then spend a long few years recovering away from the spotlight, eventually getting together to write and record what would later become Era.
The record is seven tracks/45 minutes of rich guitar textures and immersive melodies that warrant your full and undivided attention, as "Waves" below will testament.
Era is due out 2 March via No Pain In Pop. You can pre-order from iTunes and you can get "Waves" as a free download. You can also get the CD/LP editions from the label's website.
They will also perform two album launch shows, one on 12 March at London's Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, and another at Birmingham's Hare & Hounds on 19 March.
Watch the clip for "Waves" below. You can find the tracklist and artwork for Era after.
