Easy Life share "ocean view" as final single from debut album
Easy Life have delivered new cut "ocean view" as a final taster of their upcoming debut album life's a beach.
"ocean view" arrives after earlier outings "have a great day", "skeletons", "a message to myself", "daydreams" and "nightmares", and is accompanied by a Greg Barth-directed video.
Frontman Murray Matravers says the track is about "managing expectations. With great anticipation comes great disappointment. "ocean view" is the feeling of taking your mate/lover out on a wild trip to the seaside and finding out the whole trip is massively underwhelming, and they don’t even enjoy trips to the beach."
life's a beach will follow Easy Life's 2020 junk food mixtape. Matravers adds of the album, "It’s a record that wishes it was anywhere else but here, yet at the same time fixates on a dreary middle England existence."
