Drake's favourite TV show gets a new lease of life on Netflix
UK drama Top Boy is set to get revived by streaming giants Netflix, with two new seasons reportedly in the works.
The Radio Times writes that the "US streaming service is planning on making two more series of the hit drama... with an announcement expected to be made imminently."
Ashley Walters (Dushane in the show) told the BBC that although there isn't anything to confirm "as of yet", an update should be coming next month. As well as Walters being involved once more, writer/creator Ronan Bennett is back on board; "other talent" will be announced in due course.
It's unknown if mega-fan Drake will take part in the show - he apparently bagged himself a role earlier this summer after reportedly acquiring the rights to the show itself. Mercury-winning MC Skepta is also rumoured to be involved behind the scenes.
The original run of Top Boy, an award-winning show about gangs and drug dealers in East London, was aired on Channel 4 between 2011 and 2013.
