Drake has responded to the booing crowd at Camp Flog Gnaw on Sunday (10 November) by announcing a "10 year residency".

On Sunday (10 November), Drake performed a surprise headline set at Tyler, The Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw festival, but ended up pulling the plug on his performance when the crowd booed him off stage after being disappointed that the surprise headliner wasn't Frank Ocean.

In one video, Drake can be heard saying, "I’m here for you tonight. If you wanna keep going, I will keep going." A large portion of the crowd rejects his offering, resulting in Drake stating, "Look. It’s been love. I love y’all. I go by the name of Drake, thank you for having me" before leaving the stage.

Last night (11 November), Drake responded to the icy crowd at Camp Flog Gnaw by jokingly announcing a new residency at the festival. Drake wrote, "Plot twist...just signed a 10 year residency at Camp Flog Gnaw sorry kids see you EVERY SINGLE YEAR till you are 30."

Yesterday (11 November), Tyler, The Creator also responded to the Camp Flog Gnaw crowd on Twitter, writing, "I THOUGHT BRINGING ONE OF THE BIGGEST ARTIST ON THE FUCKING PLANET TO A MUSIC FESTIVAL WAS FIRE! BUT FLIPSIDE, A LIL TONE DEAF KNOWING THE SPECIFIC CROWD IT DREW. SOME CREATED A NARRATIVE IN THEIR HEAD AND ACTED OUT LIKE ASSHOLES WHEN IT DIDNT COME TRUE AND I DONT FUCK WITH THAT."

In a separate tweet, the IGOR musician added, "YALL REPRESENTED ME AND FLOG TO MY GUEST AND MADE US LOOK SOOO ENTITLED AND TRASH."

Last week Drake launched his own cannabis company More Life Growth Co. in collaboration with Canopy Growth.
