Drake says Certified Lover Boy album is about to be mixed
Drake has given an update on his long-awaited Certified Lover Boy album, revealing that it's heading into the mixing stage.
Certified Lover Boy, Drake's follow-up to 2018's Scorpion, was originally due for release in January, but Drake delayed the release so he could focus on recovering from surgery.
While he did deliver Scary Hours 2 EP in March, Drake is still yet to announce a release date for Certified Lover Boy.
After stating that the album will be out by the end of summer in an interview last month, Drake has revealed that he's finished recording it by confirming it's about to be mixed.
While appearing on Sound 42's Fri Yiy Friday show (9 July), Drake said, "You know, Uncle Drake's on his way back home to mix the album so she's got a bunch of new tracks coming her way."
He added, "CLB on the way."
