Drake played a small show at Leicester's Club Republic last night
Drake jumped from stage-to-stage last night as he finished his Birmingham tour date and headed to Leicester's tiny Club Republic for a one-off performance.
The Canadian rapper went straight from his 16,000 capacity Birmingham show at the Resorts World Arena to the 2,000 capacity club in Leicester.
Back in 2017, Drake postponed an event at the same club in Leicester last minute, but this time he went through with the event, and performed some of his biggest hits such as "Nonstop", "God's Plan", and "Sicko Mode".

Some fans were pretty annoyed that they had payed triple digits to see Drake at his Assassination Vacation arena tour, while the people that went to his Leicester afterparty only had to pay a fraction of the price.
Imagine paying big money to insure ya car for drake plus getting a hotel so you can be a responsible adult and not drink and drive for him to confirm after all your bookings that he’s in ya home time Leicester for £30 after you spent so much unnecessary money

Speaking to LeicestershireLive, the event organiser Sukh Singh said, "It was just packed in there, it was great - the atmosphere was amazing. It's something that's going to be heard about here for a long time. Leicester is my home town so I had to represent. It's always been a dream of mine bringing the biggest artists on the planet to Leicester."
