Icelandic producer dj flugvél & geimskip has announced a new album titled Nótt á Hafsbotni.
dj flugvél & geimskip (airplane and spaceship in English) is inspired by "Joe Meek’s cosmic pop experiments, J-Pop, and lo-fi internet culture". The lead single, "Hjari Veraldar (Edge of the Universe)", is a mystical exploration through electronic music.
dj flugvél & geimskip will perform at Iceland Airwaves (sharing a bill with LA Priest) on Thursday 5 November.
Nótt á Hafsbotni (EN: Night At The Bottom Of The Ocean) is out 4 December via Mengi Records. It follows Glamúr í geimnum (EN: Glamour In Space).
