Diplo and Swae Lee reunite on Elvis film track "Tupelo Shuffle"
Diplo and Swae Lee have released their Elvis film collaboration "Tupelo Shuffle", which samples Elvis Presley's debut single "That’s All Right".
Following the release of Doja Cat's "Vegas" track from the upcoming Baz Luhrmann-directed Elvis biopic last month, Diplo and Swae Lee have unveiled their Elvis track "Tupelo Shuffle", marking their first collaboration since appearing on Ellie Goulding's "Close To Me" in 2018.
While Doja Cat's "Vegas" track interpolated "Hound Dog", "Tupelo Shuffle" sees Diplo and Swae Lee sample Presley's debut single "That's All Right", and also features Austin Butler (who plays Elvis in the film) and Gary Clark, Jr..
Last month Eminem also teased his upcoming Elvis song "The King And I" which features CeeLo Green.
The Elvis soundtrack will also feature contributions from Tame Impala, Denzel Curry, Stevie Nicks, Jack White, Jazmine Sullivan, Måneskin, PNAU and more.
